Yohei Abe (阿部　洋平) is a Japanese photographer, DJ, poet, based in Los Angeles. Founder of Balse.org, his work explores solitude, cross-cultural experience, and humanity’s relationship to nature, memory, and spirituality. His first monograph, Ghosts Angels Beyond Light released December 2025 with dePAOLA Pictures, supported by Leica Akademie USA and Leica Store San Francisco.
